What is Stataz?
Stataz is a Chrome extension that helps you track text-generation token usage and estimated cost while keeping your AI prompts and conversations organized.
Which AI platforms does Stataz support?
Stataz works with ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
Is Stataz free to use?
Yes. Stataz is free to install and use today. Additional Pro features are planned for the future.
How do I install Stataz?
Open the Chrome Web Store listing from the Download page, select Add to Chrome, and follow Chrome's installation prompt.
Do I need to create an account?
No account or configuration is needed to get started with Stataz.
What does token tracking measure?
Stataz tracks tokens used for text generation in supported AI conversations and uses that information to estimate usage and cost.
How is the estimated cost calculated?
Stataz detects the active model where possible and applies its token pricing to provide an estimated cost in USD. Actual charges may vary.
Does Stataz track image, file, or document usage?
Not yet. Current tracking covers text generation only; image processing, file uploads, document analysis, and backend operations are not included.
Can I see my usage history?
Yes. Stataz includes a seven-day usage overview, so you can understand your recent token use and estimated spend.
Can I save AI conversations?
Yes. The bookmark manager lets you save important conversations from supported platforms and find them later from one unified panel.
Can I search my saved bookmarks?
Yes. You can search saved conversations and filter them by AI platform.
What is the prompt library?
The prompt library is a place to save reusable prompts with names and previews, search them quickly, and insert them into the active AI input.
Is there a limit on saved prompts?
No. Stataz lets you save unlimited prompts.
Where is my Stataz data stored?
The information needed for Stataz's core workspace features is handled in your browser workspace.
Does Stataz sell my data?
No. Stataz is designed to provide its core features without collecting or selling your personal data to third parties.
Can I remove my Stataz data?
Yes. You can remove Stataz data through your browser's extension controls or by uninstalling the extension.
Why might a usage total differ from my AI provider's bill?
Stataz provides an estimate based on detected model and text-generation tokens. Provider billing can include activity that is not currently tracked by the extension.
